The Ulap Doyo is a type of traditional handwoven textile originating from East Kalimantan, Indonesia. Similar to bamboo, Doyo leaves grows wild deep in the Borneo forests. Doyo derives from the fiber used in weaving for the base where the base is then hand embroidered using dyed Washi thread to create its beautiful, sophisticated detailing.
